Gracon Engineers have passed CVRT tester rules to carry inspections on commercial and non-commercial vehicles, we are deemed to be “Suitably Qualified Individual” SQI

- CVRT & NCT modification inspection/reports
When CVRT tester notices a repair or modification which may adversely affect the road worthiness of the vehicle, the tester shall seek a modification report from a Suitably Qualified Individual SQI. The report that Gracon produce shall be in accordance with CVRT “Commercial Vehicle Roadworthiness Testing” which is verified by the RSA “Road Safety Authority”
In-House Engineering/Welding
Gracon can carry out the modification you require to bring your vehicle up to specification so that it passes the CVRT test. Examples of this work include:
- Repairs made to primary structure components, by welding in new metal of same gauge as the manufactured component
- Extensive rust can only be repaired by replacing /removing all rusted material and reinforcing it so that the original strength of affected structural member is re-established.
Revenue Declaration of Conversion Inspections
We can convert your commercial to a crewcab or convert your 7/8 seater to a crewcab. All documentation work carried out by us, we can also organise the CVRT test if required.
Pre-purchase inspections
A full mechanical inspection carried out by an SQI . At our centre your vehicle can placed on a lift to check for mechanical wear, chassis damage and all components.
